This is the 'largest' dive I have ever been to. The food and drinks are pretty cheap, but the place is dingy. For being centrally located in St. Charles county, they draw a crowd that does not fit in with the area. I happened to be here on a fairly slow day, but given my experience with the clientele that they draw, I can only imagine that most people in the area would not fit in. Let's be honest. It is a biker bar that should be placed in a rural part of the county/area, not along one of the more busy and populated areas of town. But, it has been in business for awhile, so if it works, it works. I just won't be going back ever again.

Large open bar, $5 cover after 7. Maybe I am just getting old but the music is always way too loud. Yes, I probably am too old. This place is more for the younger crowd.

Large, open atmosphere with several tvs and a stage. The food is really cheap and so are the drinks. Really enjoy going there with friends and the family. They offer live music, DJ, and special events from time to time.

Tasty inexpensive bar food with a good beer selection. It's a good venue for watching local bands. Ladies night drink specials. Sports on TV. They have an attached party room. Kid friendly service during the day. I always get good service from the waitresses. You have to buy a beverage in order to eat the cheap food.

This place used to be half way decent, but it has taken a dive which is pretty hard to do considering the fact that it is a dive. How do you not prepare for a big crowd on the day of blues playoffs and the Cardinals game? Nachos and 2 burgers took over 30 minutes and were horribly over cooked. The plate of nachos had a thin layer of full chips on top of the crumbs from the bottom of the bag. Worst of all, it's the last smoking bar in st. Charles. I'm usually not a complainer, but get your act together and offer decent service.

We brought a group of 15 over from cottleville. Got seated immediately. So far so good. That's where it went wrong. The waitress comes over and ask for drink orders and has a huge attitude. I asked for what was on draught and her response was,"we have 20 beers on tap babe. Go look." Then we order food. We were the first of the group to order. Everyone was done eating before our waitress returned. She said sorry and comped us our beer. We finally got our apps and entrees together at the same time an hour late. We asked to see a manager. She came over but I'm sure she was just another waitress. She made excuses as to why our nachos were an hour late. I told her we didn't want anything for free but someone should know. She returned with $15 of gift certificates to come back. Ha. Never again.

The food is cheap and really good. Had the seafood plate for 5.99, the highest priced item on the menu and it was great. I recommend taking the family here. Everyone gets what they want and your get a small bill at the end.

The food is only fair and the service is horrible. Order not correct. Fries were cold. Had to chase down the waitress. Waited way too long for drinks. Don't waste your time. There are better places in the area

the place looked very ran down. As i have been there twice. The first time the food selection was great and the second time many prices went up and many things were removed from the menu. I also requested a water and was told i was going to be chrgered for a soda. As if the food wasnt already over priced. I also didnt like the bathrooms. The worst public restroom i have ever seen. I would rather use a gas station bathroom.

This place has a really unique feel to it. When we first arrived all of the open tables had signs on them that said reserved. It was a busy Sat night and we hadn't even thought about making a reservation. oops! They we're super helpful though and found us a table. Everything here is super cheap so you HAVE to buy a non-water drink. The burgers are steak and shake style, and awesome. The wings are non-breaded (which is the best way to have them IMO) and are great. I really enjoyed the Asian sauce. Overall it is a dive bar that looks kinda nasty and unwelcoming.. but the food is pretty dang good.

Poor service. They no longer have pool tables or darts, even though it is listed on menu. We waited forever for food, drinks, and bill. Food came out cold or burnt or soaked in pickle juice (French fries). Will never return.

Went here for a birthday party and had a blast, they had food which was ok (toasted rav & crab ragoon). There was also a live band which rocked the house with 80s staples which really seemed to get the crowd a movin The crowd was mostly older (30+) shall I say, not particularly fashion conscious. The bar was INCREDIBLY smokey and they refused to open any doors to get some fresh air moving which i thought was complete bs My major complaint was for one we only had 1 waitress for a party of about 30 so we were constantly running dry. Also, the bartender seemed to just make up prices as he goes bc he completely ripped me off when I bought a round of two house vodka tonics and was charged $25! Next time we ordered the same round it was only $8! The other bartender (yes there was only two for this incredibly packed bar) just looked redic trying to impress the local 4-H girls with his quasi-Tom Cruise moves from "Cocktail" it was actually funny to watch while you waited 30min to get a drink The waitress was nice, doormen were the typical wannabe tough guys who acted like they didn't remember us when we would step out for fresh air, bartenders were whack $5 cover after 8 or 9

New owners are awesome! Food was inexpensive but tasted great, pizza is my favorite. The entire staff is always very helpful and every time I go back there seems to be something new.

We walked in for lunch and waited to be seated. There was a gal behind the bar and two servers at a server's station, all three looked at us when we walked in. We waited... And waited... The bartender was serving her customers, the two servers were playing with their phones. We turned around and left. We will not be back.

This place for sure doesn't have gourmet food or anything but it's a fun place to go for a game or with a big group of people! Lots of drink options. You have to buy a drink if you're getting food... This makes some people mad but really- who cares? The food is so cheap, it really doesn't make a difference. Just sack up and grab yourself a bud light. Or soda. Whatever. Haha. Speaking of drinks.... They don't have a drink menu, which is super odd to me. Both times that I've been here they have just handed me a piece of paper with all their beers hand written out on some scrap paper. And the liquor was all written out too. But no like real mixed drinks were on there. Just literally a list of the liquor they had behind the bar. So strange. And the list had like some random persons phone number on it? Hahaha... My friends and I got a kick out of that.

this restaurant is filthy they don't have a liquor license it is not a family place do not take children under age girls they go outside to smoke the marijuana and nobody uses gloves when they're preparing your food. And don't pay with a credit card or a debit card because they steal the numbers and then they send them to people that steal your identity yes that happened to me. They're very short staffed because the so-called owners take all the money. And they will serve anyone. I don't know how the places still open considering they do not have a liquor license. Believe me don't go there unless you have underage kids that want to drink and then have your credit card number stolen.

This has very quickly become one of our favorite go-to places for an easy, fast, cheap meal. They've recently done a bit of remodeling and cleaning up, added seating and took away the stage area, and added lots more big screen TVs. I'm not into the big screen TV thing, but I'm sure it's a draw for the sports bar crowd. Honestly, their chef salad and their all you can eat fried chicken (on Wednesdays I think) are some of the best eats in the area. Yes, you must get a minimum of a $2.59 drink, and no, they don't have a diet AND caffeine-free option which is what I require, but what the hey? Count it as part of the food bill because it's ridiculously cheap but also very good! They've also changed their burgers, and in my opinion, they are even better than they were, and at 99cents, who can complain? You don't wait to be seated here. You walk in and find a seat. It's not a restaurant; it's a sports-type bar. So if someone got ticked off because they weren't seated, that's because they didn't bother to seat themselves or ask if they should just take a seat. There was a typo in an ad that was sent out in the spring, and i think they could've handled that situation a bit better, but that hasn't kept me from returning again and again and enjoying the food. So far, nothing has been bad, disappointing, or cold. A couple of times the wait has been a little longer, but they were also busier than usual. At these prices for better than average bar food, it's worth it. And most of the portions are very big. The Friday night steaks are some of the best I've had, cooked just right! Maybe it used to be a trashier place; my brother in law seems to think so. Maybe they were a dive, but they've cleaned it up and to me, it's a solidly good diner that just happens to be in a sports bar surrounded by a zillion big screen TVs.

It's not too busy during the day,and the burger is delicious, but at night,it gets really busy.Me,and a couple friends went in around 9 to hang out.By the time we actually walked in,the only spots available were under the loud speakers. We only got the drinks, and left because we literally had to yell at each other just to talk, and there wasn't any place for us to move out of the speakers,so we ended up leaving for another place.

The Babylon is a great place to go for cheap food and drinks, great live music and to just have a good time. Can't go wrong at this one!

This was an interesting place. My first opinion was negative, due to the plethora of cigarette smoke emanating from the bar area and stage seating. Luckily we were directed to the non-smoking area. Unfortunately, the non-smoking area gives you the definite idea that you are the bastard step-child due to being crammed in the back of the place away from anything remotely entertaining, but that's OK, I will gladly sit in a boring back seating area away from the music and bar to avoid the lung crippling disgust that is the smoking section. I can't wait until St. Charles goes non-smoking, but that's a different story. The server came over and was very friendly. She took our orders and offered some suggestions on drinks. I ordered the .99 cent burger, some peel and eat shrimp and chicken wings. It was a great burger and cooked just the way I like it. The shrimp were quite small, and I will avoid them in the future. They are double the price of Fast Eddies and only half the size. The chicken wings were pretty tasty. The sauce seemed store bought, but that's not always a bad thing. Especially since the wings were only .49 cents each and double the size of Buffalo Wild Wings. My wife had the fried fish platter and asparagus. It was pretty tasty too. A buddy of mine had the steak kebab, and it was pretty delicious. The menu was much bigger than Fast Eddies, which is the place they seem to be competing with. I like the idea of staying in Missouri and not having to cross the river into the most corrupt state in America, so this place may bump Fast Eddies in my world for years to come. Overall, the price was right, which is why this place gets the four star victory in spite of the obvious shortcomings. I have heard this place is crazy on the weekends, so I will NEVER come here on a Friday or Saturday unless it's snowing and no one else can make it out of their driveway. Haha! Total bill for three people to get stuffed full, five alcoholic drinks and lots of people watching...less than $50. We left a good tip and it topped off at less than $60. I will be back to attack that menu again.

Went because I saw an ad for all you can eat steak for 6.99. Server said that she never heard of that and wouldn't honor my word. I go home and see ad and call the manager. Server answers and refuses to let me talk to manager. She goes on to say that she was aware of the ad and they did not care what it says because it was a typo. Again I tried to get to manager and was hung up on. This is the last time I'm dealing with this place after so many bad service outings and shady special changes in the past ! If I could post pic of ad I would!!

Food was not great. We were there on a Saturday night on Jan 3,2015 and the waitress closed out our table before I paid (separate checks). I told her and she had a lot of trouble getting it take care of so I could pay. NOW, they charged me AGAIN a second time, for my check on Jan 22nd. The manager is saying we're lying and he wants to see our bank statement. Like we're going to give him our personal bank information! Good grief! Really? So, I suggest if you chose to eat here, USE CASH! And if you've been double charged, join me in calling the TV stations and the prosecuting attorney for St Charles county.
